Needle felting is a wonderfully creative and mindful hobby which allows you to relax and focus plus it’s very addictive and this cute pony can be made between 4 to 6 hours approx, depending on the makers experience

Needle felting can be very absorbing, however, please take care as the needles are so sharp, it’s essential that they are stored appropriately after use and disposed of carefully if they break. If you’re buying this kit for a child under the age of 12, we recommend you provide supervision and are very careful when using the needles. Always replace needles in storage immediately, after use or pausing in your work.

NOTE: You will need some cheap rice for the cotton calico bag and fill the bag about ¾ full and close securely. In order to use the needle correctly, for felting, you need to be able to jab it down into the wool, and to avoid injury to yourself and possible damage to furniture, is essential to have this little rice filled bag.

A Little Info About the Herdwick Sheep

These gorgeous sheep are native to western and central Lake District and live in the highest hills of England’s mountains and are a hardy breed. The word ‘Herdvyck’ means sheep pasture and comes from old Norse; did you know the lambs are born black and lighten after about a year.
