My collection features a variety of needle felting kits, inspired by different animals and themes. I started with our native Manx Loaghtan Sheep Needle Felting Kit, a heritage breed that is classified as ‘at risk’ on the Isle of Man. This kit has been a favourite among beginners, allowing them to make their own cute and cuddly sheep.
The Highland Cow or Muckle Coo Needle Felting Kit was next and the idea from this one came from 2 cows that live down the road from me called Morag and Agnus and who came to say hello, over their field gate whilst I was out walking Dolly & Daisy, my 2 German Shorthaired Pointer dogs.
My next 4 kits are based on endangered species, the Panda, the Herdwick Sheep & Her Lamb, The Manx Cat and The Exmoor Pony.
My dog series came about after being asked to create some, so I started off with the 2 most popular breeds, The Dachshund and The Labrador.
